Release v0.8.0

v0.8.0 establishes a stable editorial and technical baseline after ratification of v0.8.0-rc.1. It integrates the foundational core, learning path, measurement system, Practice Lab and conversational patterns under reproducible navigation, traceability and gates.

What becomes stable

  • the MkDocs portal and its public architecture;
  • navigation from decision and evidence to action, measurement and learning;
  • strict build, semantic audit, visual regression and automated accessibility contracts;
  • identification of authority, sources, claims, limits and asset status;
  • version lineage from v0.2.0 through source candidate v0.8.0-rc.1;
  • the mechanism that creates a tag and GitHub Release only from the validated main SHA.

Authority preserved by component

Component Retained status What this release does not do
Governance v0.2.0 Approved and project-normative Does not make CDI-BoK an external standard
Core v0.4.0 Approved with differentiated authority Does not change definitions or scope
B2B case v0.5.0-rc.1 Candidate, instrumented, unexecuted Does not invent owner, action, outcome or effect
Learning v0.6.0-rc.1 Ratified candidate guidance Does not prove real learning or adoption
Measurement v0.7.0-rc.1 Ratified candidate synthesis Does not validate weights, benchmarks or a universal score
Patterns v0.8.0-rc.1 Ratified candidate taxonomy Does not make it exhaustive, scientific or effective by decree

Stability applies to the publishing system and integrated baseline, not to uniformly promoting every document to approved.

Promotion gates

The RC merged through PR #10 as bbc5c0583b28bbc3d4d2b6a2aedf28f8df336347. Post-merge validation 29871891960 and deployment 29871892015 passed; the portal returned HTTP 200. The promotion PR and post-merge stable workflow repeated preflight, build, browser and Axe gates before creating v0.8.0 on the exact validated SHA.

What “stable” does not mean

CDI remains a proposed interdisciplinary domain; PULSE is not presented as scientifically validated or guaranteed to improve decisions; the pattern taxonomy is not academic consensus; the B2B case uses simulated data without observed impact; automated audits do not prove complete WCAG 2.2 AA conformance; and 0.x still denotes foundational development.

Immutable identification

ADR-024 authorizes the v0.8.0 tag and GitHub Release. Both are created only after merge and stable gates; v0.8.0-rc.1 remains untagged under ADR-022.
