Candidate v0.8.0-rc.1

v0.8.0-rc.1 starts Sprint 6—Conversational Decision Patterns & Anti-patterns. It turns two undeveloped domains into a candidate system for recognizing recurring blockers and selecting the smallest conversational move needed to frame, ground, deliberate, commit or learn.

What it adds

  • controlled language and anatomy for patterns and anti-patterns;
  • five candidate patterns from decision contract to expectation–result review;
  • six anti-patterns covering decorative conversation, semantic drift, artificial certainty, undue authority, adoption-as-impact and hindsight;
  • proportional selection by blocker, stakes, uncertainty and reversibility;
  • stop conditions, abstention, escalation and non-conversational alternatives;
  • YAML template, null states and machine-readable registry;
  • a stopped application to the simulated B2B case;
  • ADR-023, calibrated institutional claims and a Sprint 6 gate.

Critical design decision

The catalog is neither a universal sequence nor a prompt library. A pattern may run in a meeting, brief, workflow or governed assistant. When a rule, report or checklist works better, conversation should be omitted.

Unchanged boundaries

The v0.4.0 core retains authority; PULSE remains interface-independent; the future PULSE pattern documents are not replaced; the B2B case remains instrumented-not-executed; effectiveness, exhaustiveness, scientific validation and external recognition are not claimed.

Status

Ratified, merged and deployed candidate. Javier Forero ratified it on July 21, 2026; PR #10 merged as bbc5c0583b28bbc3d4d2b6a2aedf28f8df336347. Post-merge validation 29871891960, deployment 29871892015 and public HTTP 200 verification closed the RC. It remains untagged; stable v0.8.0 does not change the catalog's candidate maturity.
